Begins July 23, 2018

Registration Form

Register today for the Athletes vs Epilepsy Step Challenge presented by NeuroPace.

The 26-day challenge begins July 23rd!

Did you know that you do not need to run marathons or triathlons to see improvements in your health?  You may get a lot of fitness and emotional gains from a small amount of low impact, daily walking!

* Regular brisk walking can help you:

  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes
  • Strengthen your bones and muscles
  • Improve your mood
  • Improve your balance and coordination

Click the registration button above and:

  • Set your step goal to walk at least 10,000 steps a day for 26 days.  (If you can’t reach 10,000 steps, try to walk for at least 30 minutes a day.)
  • Set your fundraising goal for $100 or more. (Your $25 registration fee will be the first donation to your fundraising page!)

When you join you will receive:

  • A customizable fundraising page to share with others that describes why you are participating and ask for their support with a donation;
  • Fundraising tips to help you with your efforts;
  • A link to download the Step Challenge app that can track and post your step numbers, so that you can compare to others on the team to help motivate you;

Register today and join other Athletes vs Epilepsy and NeuroPace RNS Ambassadors raising funds to help stop seizures and find cures for epilepsy.  Your efforts will raise awareness for the more than 3.4 million people in the U.S. living with the challenges of epilepsy.

NeuroPace Ambassador Joshua Panger copes with the obstacles of epilepsy with outdoor life and the Step Challange.  Click here to read more about Joshua's story as a part of the Athletes vs Epilepsy Step Challenge presented by NeuroPace.

We wish you much success on your fitness journey!

While the Athletes vs Epilepsy Step Challenge presented by NeuroPace is a unique opportunity for you to improve your wellbeing, it is important that you do so under the guidance of your medical team. If you are unable to participate in the step challenge, we hope that you can support someone who can, do an alternate exercise to walking, or register for another Athletes vs Epilepsy campaign.

The Step Challenge is solely owned by Epilepsy Foundation's Athletes vs. Epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation does not endorse specific products or services and encourages people living with epilepsy to work with their healthcare team in exploring treatment options.

We wish you much success on your fitness journey!
